Our Platform

This platform is dedicated to keeping America great for everyone who is a legal citizen.

Those in the Originalist party believe in the Constitution of the United States. We believe that the Constitution is not a set of laws that people can change to fill their agenda, but instead, a strict guide to creating laws based on the original meaning of the document – the meaning as the Founders wrote it.

Separation of Powers

We believe in the separation of powers, limited government, federalism, and people’s rights. Some in the government believe that only some are entitled to these rights. They are trying to make our great country into a socialist and / or communist country, one with more government intervention, by merging the powers of the executive branch, judicial branch, and legislative branch of states and the federal government.

First Amendment

Some of our current politicians no longer believe in political freedom or religious freedom. They are trying their best to remove these freedoms by “shutting down” churches and refusing to hire those who have worked for a different political party.

Energy Sources

The party that is trying to remove our freedoms – the Democrat party – also strives to take away capitalism by removing the right to use our natural resources. In 2020, we were finally able to provide our own energy and have enough to sell to other countries instead of the United States buying what we need from other countries. The removal of our ability to support our energy needs will bleed into the removal of other industries. An all-electric “clean energy” agenda will eventually wipe out many industries, including forestry management, construction industries and others. These industries cannot run on electricity alone because of the heavy equipment required to perform many jobs in those industries.

The way to remain a free country is not to rely on other countries. We need to work to keep our freedoms and capitalism intact, which will, in turn, make America more prosperous than ever.

Job Creation and Draining the Swamp

For the eight years prior to President Trump’s administration, the country was going in the wrong direction. President Trump turned the country around, and people had much better lives. Taxes were lower for most in the middle class, and businesses came back to America, creating more jobs for Americans. Since Biden was installed, taxes have gone up, including on those in the middle class, interest rates have skyrocketed, and inflation is through the roof. Many companies that moved here – and even some that have been here – are selling out or leaving to go back overseas.

Despite what some say, President Trump kept most of his campaign promises. One that he could not keep but was in the process of doing was to drain the swamp. The swamp helped Democrats take over by cheating in the 2020 election before President Trump could finish draining the swamp.

We are saddled with a career politician who did nothing for his 47 years in public service other than entering into corrupt deals that made him and his family rich. This career politician was part of the spying and planned take-down of a great man who cared only for the people and making America great again.

Mr. Biden pointed his finger at one of the most honest presidents we have ever had and accused him of doing what Mr. Biden himself was doing, including quid pro quo.

It’s time to remove those in our legislative branches who do not follow the Constitution and who cheat so they can implement their agenda – an agenda that serves to spend taxpayer dollars, raise taxes, and make politicians rich on the backs of the middle class.

Platform Highlights

The platform we are fighting for includes:

    • Continue rebuilding the economy and creating jobs by making it attractive for businesses to remain in America or to move back to America. Raising taxes on businesses and increasing the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour or higher is not the way to achieve this.
    • Mr. Obama left office without having one single year of three percent economic growth. Despite the coronavirus pandemic and Democratic governors keeping their states closed, the United States saw an annualized growth of 33.1 percent for 2020. The Dow Jones hit a record-ending high of 30,409.56 on the last day of 2020.
    • Continue with President Trump’s tax code changes, which were not renewed under the Biden administration. The tax code changes put more money in each person’s pocket than ever before. President Trump’s changes allowed businesses to flourish. Mr. Biden not only raised taxes on “those who make over $400,000 per year,” but also for the lower and middle classes. Mr. Biden seems to forget that it’s the lower and middle classes that keep those businesses making over $400,000 per year in business. When taxes and minimum wages increase, businesses increase their prices, which makes the cost of living for everyone higher – and will eventually drive companies out of business or force them to leave the United States.

• Oppose retroactive taxation.
• Keep America competitive by encouraging private investments, which require lower corporate taxes and less regulatory burdens.
• Continue President Trump’s fair trade policies.
• Continue freeing financial markets.
• Continue improving the nation’s infrastructure, including roads, bridges, rails, ports, airports and clean water.
• Continue building the future with digital technology, including modernizing the federal government’s legacy system and advancing universal broadband coverage, among other items.
• Continue updating the electric transmission system and getting rid of the outdated grid.

    • Continue making it easier for small businesses to start up.
    • Working on making the Federal Reserve more transparent.
    • Continue fostering growth creation.
    • Bring federal compensation and benefits packages in line with the standards of most American employees, including no special insurance and now extra perks after retirement.
    • Reducing the federal debt.

    • Appointing judges who are strict constitutionalists or originalists and creating a method to remove rogue judges, including impeaching those who violate their Article I powers.
    • Giving health insurance back to the private sector and finally dismantling Obamacare. Additionally, allowing insurance companies to write policies across state lines to create more competition to drive down prices of insurance policies, prescriptions and medical care in general.
    • Removing legislative authority from executive departments, agencies and commissions.
    • Traditional marriage builds a strong foundation for a free society, rearing children, and instilling cultural values. This includes turning over States v. Wagner, which removed the ability of Congress to define a marriage policy in federal laws. Obergefellv. Hodges should also be overturned as it reduces “the disciplined legal reasoning of John Marshall and Joseph Storey to mystical aphorisms of a fortune cookie,” thus robbing 320 million Americans of their legitimate constitutional Fourteenth Amendment “beyond recognition.”
    • Removing government restrictions on religious colleges and universities and other restrictions on religious freedom that undermine the very basis of religious freedom. Places of worship should not have to worry about losing their tax-exempt status for practicing traditional religious beliefs as long as those beliefs are not criminal in nature. The government, especially the IRS, should not police places of worship.
    • Ensuring citizens have the right to devote resources to any cause or candidate a person supports, including removing limits on reasonable political speech.
    • Removing restrictions on concealed and open carry and on all gun laws and regulations that serve to make it harder for legal citizens to execute their Second Amendment rights. The only restriction to owning and carrying weapons should be a background check to prevent felons and those with domestic violence charges from owning weapons.
Implementing constitutional carry throughout all 50 states.

    • We support punishing those who attempt to file frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers in the future and those who have done it in the past.
    • Strict limitations on aerial surveillance on U.S. soil other than patrolling our borders. Strict adherence to the Fourth Amendment for liberty and privacy of American citizens. Removing tracking devices from motor vehicles. Keeping the ability to communicate with each other free from unlawful government intrusion. Stop the illegal seizure of personal finance information unless the government has probable cause or reasonable suspicion.
    • Enforcing the Declaration of Independence’s proclamation of the inalienable right to life. While abortions are necessary under certain circumstances, such as the mother’s life or death during the first term, late-term abortion violates the proclamation of the inalienable right to life. This also applies to the elderly and those with disabilities – everyone has the right to live without government interference.
    • Enforcing the Tenth Amendment as written, thus giving the government very limited powers and returning some powers taken by the federal government to the states.
    • Opposition of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Federal laws requiring voter ID for all elections. Paper ballots. Reaffirming that ONLY the state legislatures can change voting laws for each state, NOT the secretary of state, the governor, nor the courts. You must vote in the state where you held residence for the past six (6) months. You cannot vote in the state where you maintain domicile since your mailing address is in the state where you live. In-person voting only, except for absentee ballots validated by showing identification at the time you apply for the absentee ballot. You must apply for an absentee ballot each time you wish to vote, whether at the local, state or federal level. Absentee ballots only available to those over 65, those who have a valid disability who are younger than 65, and those in the military who serve overseas.
    • Putting the military and veterans ahead of pet projects. The military budget shall not be slashed. All service members and veterans will get a raise every year based on the Consumer Price Index but with a minimum of 10 percent of the CPI increase, whichever is higher.
    • Social Security’s COLA raise and COLA raises for veterans and veterans’ surviving spouses shall also be at a minimum of 10 percent or the increase based on the CPI, whichever is higher.
    • Term limits for all members of Congress. Each member shall serve no more than two terms.
    • Removal of any justice who attempts to change term limits once they are set.
    • Better enforcement of antitrust laws.
    • Sanctions for large corporations who attempt to govern (e.g., as in late 2020) the censoring of the American people by social media sites, including suppressing news from a political candidate.

    • Must be a United States natural-born citizen to receive welfare benefits. You cannot be born to an illegal. Welfare shall also be limited to six (6) months as a way to help people get back on their feet. You must find a job if you are physically and / or mentally able to work. You cannot use your children as an excuse not to work unless your family can afford to support you. You cannot apply for welfare for two years after using this benefit, regardless of whether you got a job.
    • top logoThe United States cannot borrow money to give to a foreign country without a national referendum and a two-thirds majority vote in both houses.
    • No lobbying in Washington.
    • Public officials must work at least 40 hours per week.
    • All federal employees must disclose lawsuits and / or federal charges against them.
    • If a member of the federal judiciary branch and the legislative branch is found guilty of a crime, he or she must step down from his or her position immediately upon conviction.
    • Those who have been found to have committed crimes in office must face the consequences of those crimes, which are at least the minimum sentence dictated by federal law.
    • In the event that Congress cannot balance the budget, every member shall work without pay until they balance the budget and shall not be dismissed until they balance the budget.
    • Renovate the Medicare and Medicaid programs to bring them up to date with today’s medicine and reinstate cuts from the Obama administration. Medicaid is part of welfare reform as it wastes billions per year in its flawed administration.
    • Continue President Trump’s immigration reform, including finishing the wall.
    • Continue President Trump’s treaty system reformation.
    • Full financial audits of all government agencies.
    • Remove any federal regulatory burdens that still exist that cause the stagnation of the economy.
    • Remove cronyism and corporate welfare.
    • Preserving the District of Columbia (not allowing it to be made a state).
    • Reforming the criminal justice system, including prisons.
    • Continue President Trump’s foreign policy.

Balancing the Budget

Congress will adopt a balanced budget without all of the pork fat and pet projects of any party in office. Pet projects must be counted on a separate budget not to exceed a legislatively mandated percentage of the GDP.

Special Investigations

Part of draining the swamp involved special investigations into the corruption in Washington. Although some of these incidents have been “investigated,” they were investigated by corrupt agencies. These include Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Hunter’s Laptop (prior to the 2020 election), Joe Biden’s quid pro quo, other Ukraine dealings and China dealings by / with / for the Biden family, The Steele Dossier / Spying on the Trump Administration / Russian Collusion, the two sham impeachments against President Trump.
