Fundraising Percentages
The Originalist Party (TOP) is a fundraising committee that raises money to support select candidates who believe that the Constitution is not a document that should be or can be changed every time someone doesn’t like the rights it affords the people of the United States.Contributions to TOP are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions may be subject to federal contribution limits and source prohibitions. If you donate more than $200 in one calendar year, federal law requires us to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer.
Division of Contributions to TOP
Contributions to TOP will be allocated as follows:
• 65 percent of each contribution goes to TOP for the support of select candidates.
• 25 percent of each contribution goes to TOP’s operating account. This covers web hosting and advertising for TOP.
• 10 percent of each contribution goes to TOP’s legal proceedings account.
• We may divide the support for select candidates between two or more candidates, or we may support one candidate.
If campaign funds are not used in any election cycle, they will be held until the next election cycle and/or post-election recounts. No contribution is used to influence any election.
Specific Candidates
If you prefer your funds to go to a specific candidate that we support, you may designate that candidate, and we will set aside your contribution for that candidate as long as he or she is someone we support.

To contribute by mail, please send a check made out to The Originalist Party, P.O. Box 44, Monterey, TN 38574.Please provide your full name, mailing address, and email address, with your mailed contribution.
